A sunflower always faces the sun. Hydragendas make glorious large clusters of flowers. Pansies have faces and daisies are my favorite flower for their simplicity and spirit.
For subject matter, I often turn to nature, especially flowers, seed pods and trees.
Trees, flowers, gardens and the outdoors stimulate my brain and senses. Scientists have studied the human-flower relationship and found they bring happiness, mood elevation and connections to humans.
Seasons
Nature shares her beauty across all the seasons.
To the careful observer, each season contains its own joy and character from brillant light and flowers in of sprint and summer to the rusty, earthy colors of autumn and the stark contrasts of winter.
Sunflowers are of particular interest because they grow tall, stand strong, and follow the sun with their blooms.
These small artworks of floral subjects can add a pop of color to a corner or a small room! Enjoy them every day in your home.
Common sense tells us that flowers make us happy. Now, science shows that not only do flowers make us happier than we know, they have strong positive effects on our emotional well being.”
